Frank A. Tessier

Frank A. Tessier is a founding partner of the firm with a broad-based practice in real estate, banking, corporate, and oil and gas law. Frank earned both his Bachelor of Science in 1976 and Juris Doctor in 1979 from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He has contributed to legal development in the state by active participation in the Louisiana Law Institute, serving on key committees that revised the Civil Code’s articles on sales, exchange, and compromise.

In the banking and finance sector, Frank represents creditors and debtors in matters such as commercial lending, troubled debt restructurings, and enforcement. His corporate practice includes structuring business entities, handling acquisitions, and ensuring regulatory compliance. He also provides guidance on real estate transactions ranging from residential development to commercial leasing.
