Lynne Bernabei is Bernabei & Kabat, PLLC’s founding partner and a nationally respected advocate in civil rights, employment discrimination, and whistleblower law. With over 30 years of experience, she has successfully litigated high-profile cases involving workplace harassment, retaliation, and violations of federal and constitutional rights across the United States.
Ms. Bernabei earned her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Harvard University in 1972 and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1977. She began her legal career clerking for the Honorable William B. Bryant of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, which shaped her commitment to justice and public service.
Over her career, Ms. Bernabei has represented employees, executives, and government officials in matters involving whistleblower protections, contract disputes, tenure denials, and unlawful terminations. Her cases often lead to broader policy changes, including legislation protecting unpaid interns from workplace harassment. She is especially known for her work with clients in finance, academia, and the public sector.
Lynne Bernabei is also a sought-after voice in the legal community. She contributes regularly to legal publications and speaks at national seminars.
