Liane Fisher

Liane Fisher is a highly experienced employment attorney and a founding partner at Fisher Taubenfeld LLP. Her legal practice focuses on representing employees in workplace disputes, including discrimination, sexual harassment, and wage and hour violations. With a deep understanding of employment law from both employer and employee perspectives, she provides strategic and effective advocacy for workers facing unfair treatment.

Liane earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where she was honored with the Judge Doris A. Thompson and Edward Thompson Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. She also became a finalist in a national trial advocacy competition. Before law school, she graduated cum laude from George Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, equipping her with a strong foundation in both law and business.

Before launching her own firm, Liane built her skills at a leading national employment law firm, defending employers in complex workplace disputes. Today, she uses that insider experience to anticipate employer strategies and aggressively advocate for employees facing discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Liane has a proven track record of success in litigation before state and federal courts, as well as city, state, and federal administrative agencies.

In addition to litigation, Liane provides legal counsel to small and mid-sized businesses, helping them implement compliance strategies to prevent workplace disputes. She serves as General Counsel for a boutique hotel and a marketing firm in New York and is a board member for Corporate Wellness Management. As a guest lecturer at various law schools, she also shares her knowledge with future legal professionals.
