Lesli Sorensen

Lesli Sorensen is a respected attorney with extensive experience in government relations and employment-related law, including ERISA and employee benefits. She provides legal counsel in state and local government matters, campaigns and elections, and ethics compliance, and she is recognized as an authority on Arizona’s public pension systems. Her career includes serving as Deputy Chief of Staff and Supervising Attorney at the Arizona House of Representatives, as well as Government Relations Officer for the Arizona State Retirement System.

Ms. Sorensen earned her Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition from Arizona State University in 2001. She then received her J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2006, equipping her with both a creative and analytical foundation for her legal career. She is admitted to practice in Arizona and New York, and she is also admitted before the Supreme Court of the United States, reflecting her broad professional qualifications.

In addition to her work in government and employment-related law, Ms. Sorensen practices in civil litigation, represents artists in contract negotiations, and assists clients in governmental investigations and audits. She currently serves as President of the Fraternal Order of Police Associates Grand Canyon State Lodge 32A and as Treasurer of the Fraternal Order of Police Associates State Lodge.
