Fran Hoffinger

Fran Hoffinger, a founding partner of The Hoffinger Firm, PLLC, has over three decades of experience in criminal defense, civil litigation, and family law. She began her legal career at the New York Legal Aid Society Criminal Defense Division, where she represented hundreds of indigent clients and later served as a Supervising Attorney.

Fran earned her B.A., cum laude with distinction, from Cornell University in 1981 and her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 1984. Admitted to practice in New York State and federal courts, Ms. Hoffinger has appeared in trial and appellate courts throughout New York City and Westchester County.

Fran has been consistently recognized for her excellence, including listings in The Best Lawyers in America®, selection as the 2024 Best Lawyers® “Lawyer of the Year” in Criminal Defense, and repeated inclusion in New York Super Lawyers.
