Kael M. Briski

Kael M. Briski is a full-time mediator and founder of Briski Mediation, providing statewide mediation services across California in employment, business, and personal injury disputes. With more than 30 years of legal experience, he has earned a reputation for fairness, persistence, and practical problem-solving. Mr. Briski is respected by both plaintiff and defense attorneys for his ability to achieve effective resolutions through preparation and thoughtful engagement.

Mr. Briski earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law and his B.A. in Political Science from California State University, Chico. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1991 and began his legal career in general civil litigation before focusing on employment law. His experience as both a litigator and mediator gives him a unique understanding of the legal, financial, and personal factors that influence settlement.

Since beginning his mediation practice in 2009, Mr. Briski has mediated over 500 employment cases, handling matters involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage disputes, and whistleblower claims. He conducts most mediations via Zoom, offering statewide accessibility while maintaining the same level of professionalism and focus as in-person sessions. His commitment to continued communication and follow-up ensures lasting resolutions for all parties involved.
