L.T. Caplan, Esq., is the founder of Caplan Law Group and a respected leader in real estate and business law. Since establishing the firm in 2006, he has expanded its reach to become one of the largest settlement agents in Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina. His practice initially focused on real estate, corporate law, landlord-tenant issues, and collections, but quickly expanded to meet the diverse needs of a broad client base across the region.

Mr. Caplan earned his undergraduate degree in business from the University of Arizona’s Eller School of Business before pursuing his Juris Doctor at the University of Miami School of Law. His dual background in business and law allows him to address legal issues with a practical, financial perspective that benefits both individuals and companies.

Throughout his career, Mr. Capla has represented a diverse range of clients, including developers, investors, property managers, landlords, tenants, and lenders, in a wide variety of legal matters. He has overseen tens of thousands of residential real estate transactions and has closed significant commercial deals involving shopping centers, office buildings, and large multifamily properties. Additionally, he has drafted countless residential and commercial leases and contracts, ensuring that his clients are protected in every stage of their transactions.

Currently, Mr. Caplan continues to represent businesses, families, and individuals across Virginia.
