Kyle Brooks is a skilled trial lawyer who has built his career handling employment disputes, business conflicts, and civil rights matters. He has represented clients in discrimination and retaliation cases involving race, sex, age, national origin, religion, and disability. Kyle earned his Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mercer University before pursuing a Juris Doctor at Georgia State University College of Law, graduating in 2013. Kyle began practicing law in private practice, where he focused on business litigation, catastrophic injury, and civil rights claims. His work included cases involving police misconduct and constitutional violations, some connected to the City of Atlanta’s former REDDOG unit. In business cases, he litigated claims under the Fair Business Practices Act, the Uniform Deceptive Trade Practices Act, ERISA, fraud, and breach of contract.
Kyle later served as an attorney for the Georgia Department of Law, concentrating on civil rights and constitutional issues. He litigated First, Fourth, Fifth, Eighth, and Fourteenth Amendment cases and addressed sovereign and qualified immunity defenses. His caseload also involved wrongful death claims, Americans with Disabilities Act matters, Title IX disputes, Rehabilitation Act cases, and Georgia Tort Claims Act litigation.
