About

Kristy Hunter is a dedicated attorney representing injured workers and employees across Southern California. She handles workers’ compensation matters throughout Riverside County, San Bernardino County, Orange County, Los Angeles County, and San Diego County, helping clients navigate complex claims with accuracy, efficiency, and strong advocacy during difficult times.

Kristy earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas William S. Boyd School of Law in 2021 and her Bachelor of Arts in English from Brigham Young University in 2015. She was admitted to practice law in California in 2023 and serves clients statewide.

Kristy manages workers’ compensation cases from the filing of Applications for Adjudication through settlement, trial, or final resolution. Her work includes issues involving AOE/COE, liens, threshold disputes, mandatory settlement conferences, expedited trials, medical treatment, temporary disability, and trials submitted for decision before workers’ compensation judges statewide fairly.

Kristy also assists families pursuing death benefits after losing loved ones to workplace injuries or illnesses. These benefits may help cover burial expenses and replace income lost because of a worker’s death, providing critical support during an especially difficult, emotional, and financially challenging time for surviving family members.

Kristy understands that workers’ compensation cases are often complex, deadline-driven, and stressful for injured employees. Using advanced processes and technology, she works every day to serve clients accurately and efficiently while protecting their rights and pursuing the benefits and outcomes they deserve under California workers’ compensation law.

Kristy Hunter also advises individuals facing unfair treatment in the workplace or denied wages under California or federal law. She collaborates with experienced professionals in wage and hour disputes, personal injury claims, employment law, disability matters, and Social Security Disability Insurance benefit appeals when broader support is needed.
