Kristen M. Carroll is an Indianapolis attorney and a senior partner at Kightlinger and Gray LLP, who defends businesses in employment law and workers’ compensation matters. She represents employers throughout proceedings before the Indiana Worker’s Compensation Board and becomes involved early in investigations and claims management. She advises employers and adjusters on claim handling, compliance with the Indiana Workers’ Compensation Act, and employment issues connected to workplace injuries. Her work focuses on reducing risk and future liability for clients.
Kristen earned her J.D. from Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis in 2001. She earned her B.S. from Samford University in 1995. She was admitted to practice in Indiana in 2001 and is also admitted before the US District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States, reflecting federal and state court credentials.
Kristen has earned significant professional recognition for her work. She has been selected to Indiana Super Lawyers since 2016 after being named a Rising Star from 2010 through 2013. She has also been recognized by Best Lawyers for workers’ compensation defense and holds an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating.
