Kirk Melton is an Idaho attorney who represents clients in a broad range of litigation matters in both state and federal courts. Since beginning his legal career in 2011, he has built experience handling disputes at every level of the Idaho judicial system. He works with individuals and businesses to address complex legal issues with careful preparation and a practical strategy.
Kirk earned his B.S. from Brigham Young University magna cum laude. He later graduated magna cum laude from the BYU Law School, where he served as a Senior Editor on the BYU Law Review. Before completing his undergraduate degree, he served a two-year LDS mission in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and he remains fluent in Spanish.
Kirk started his career clerking for then-District Judge G. Richard Bevan. After completing his clerkship, he spent several years as an associate at a Twin Falls, Idaho, law firm. During that time, he represented companies and individuals in a wide range of litigation matters. His clients have included homeowner’s associations, landlords/tenants, businesses, insureds, and contractors. In addition to litigation, he has helped clients with business matters, estate planning, and probate needs.
Kirk approaches each case with focus and determination. He assists clients with virtually all their litigation needs and guides them through each stage of the legal process with clear communication and steady advocacy. He is licensed to practice law before all State and Federal courts of Idaho.
