Kimberly D. Young has built a career in litigation and appellate law, representing clients in high-stakes civil disputes for more than two decades. She has defended utilities, insurers, and companies in personal injury, wrongful death, and product liability claims, while also guiding behavioral healthcare providers through challenging legal issues.
Kimberly earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Lyon College in 2000, graduating summa cum laude as a member of Alpha Chi and recipient of the Charles H. Coffin Medal. She later obtained her Juris Doctor, with high honors, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law in 2003, where she was a Bowen Scholar and Associate Notes Editor of the Law Review.
Kimberly’s practice extends across state and federal courts, where she has successfully defended clients in wrongful death, negligence, and strict liability matters. She has argued before the Arkansas Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Arkansas, and the Eighth Circuit, often serving as appellate counsel for complex cases or as local counsel in multidistrict litigation.
Kimberly has been trusted to represent national and regional companies, including energy providers, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, and insurance carriers. Her experience includes serving on regional case management teams for large-scale multidistrict litigation and securing favorable defense verdicts in jury trials involving premises liability and electrical utility claims.
Kimberly D. Young is widely respected for her ability to manage complex litigation, deliver strategic appellate advocacy, and support clients with skill, diligence, and dedication, making her a trusted advisor in both courtroom and appellate settings. Her commitment to service extends beyond her professional practice.
