Joel G. Amend

Joel G. Amend is an associate at Fleeson Gooing who focuses his practice on business and commercial litigation, corporate and business law, real estate law, and taxation. Joel earned his Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Kansas before receiving his Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law in 2024. During law school, he distinguished himself by serving on the executive board of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, contributing as a research assistant, and earning Dean’s Honors, accomplishments that underscored both his academic excellence and his leadership abilities.

Since joining Fleeson Gooing in 2024, Joel has represented clients in a range of matters, including contract disputes, entity formation, property transactions, and tax-related issues. His legal work reflects a balance of litigation skills and transactional insight, enabling him to assist clients with both preventative planning and dispute resolution.
