Kim De Arcangelis is a seasoned labor and employment attorney at Morgan & Morgan’s Orlando office, where she litigates wage disputes, employee misclassification, discrimination, retaliation, and FMLA violations. With national experience, she advocates for workers in both individual lawsuits and high-impact class and collective actions.
Kim earned both her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies and Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2006 and is also admitted to practice in multiple federal courts, including the Middle, Northern, and Southern Districts of Florida, as well as courts in Indiana, Tennessee, and Illinois.
Kim began her legal career representing employers and insurance carriers, gaining valuable insight into defense strategies. Today, she uses that experience to serve employees better, bringing her litigation background into play in bench trials, arbitrations, and federal jury trials across the country.
Kim has secured millions in unpaid wages and damages for thousands of workers, including major settlements in nationally recognized cases. Notable matters include representing NFL cheerleaders in a wage class action and law enforcement officers in a suit over unpaid mandatory meeting time.
In addition to her legal work, Kim is the longtime Orlando Division President of the Friends of 440 Scholarship Fund, supporting the education of children of injured workers. She is also a member of the Orange County Bar Association and frequently contributes insights on wage and hour law to legal publications and community forums.
