Kenneth Gleria is a respected criminal defense attorney who has served clients since establishing his practice in Albuquerque in 1997. With decades of focused legal experience, he has represented clients in over 4000 New Mexico state court cases and more than 900 federal matters, advocating tirelessly to protect their constitutional rights.
Kenneth began his academic path at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he laid the groundwork for his legal career. He then earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Utah College of Law, sharpening his focus on criminal defense and preparing for a career grounded in legal advocacy.
Kenneth holds licenses to practice law in both New Mexico and Utah. He is also admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the District of New Mexico. This wide-reaching jurisdiction enables him to provide legal representation in complex state and federal cases.
Kenneth’s dedication to public defense is evident through his long-standing role on the United States District Court’s Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Panel. Since 2004, he has also served as the CJA Panel Attorney Representative for the District of New Mexico, appointed by the Chief United States District Judge.
Kenneth regularly receives appointments from Bernalillo County District Court Judges to help resolve criminal matters, using his experience to find fair solutions. His legal work covers a wide range of charges, including serious drug crimes, white collar offenses, and violent felonies.
