Liberty Sanborn

Liberty Sanborn is an Albuquerque-based attorney known for her dedication to justice and unwavering commitment to defending individuals facing complex legal challenges. With a strong foundation in criminal defense and personal injury, she has advocated for clients in cases ranging from DWI to violent crime and medical malpractice.

Liberty began her academic journey at the University of New Mexico, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government in 2020. She also studied abroad at the University of Sussex in 2019. She later completed her Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2023. While in law school, she was active in the Student Trial Lawyers Association, NMACLU Student Chapter, and the Association of Public Interest.

Liberty started her legal career as a clerk, gaining hands-on experience and insight into client advocacy. After graduating, she spent a year at the Public Defender’s Office in Albuquerque, where she defended individuals charged with serious offenses. Her early career helped build her skills in courtroom strategy, client support, and legal research.

Liberty has handled a wide variety of practice areas, including criminal defense, drug and violent crimes, domestic violence, DWI defense, and white collar crime. She also assists clients in personal injury cases, including car accidents and medical malpractice claims. Her work is driven by a strong belief in fairness and justice for everyone, no matter their background or case type.
