Jimmy Lai

Jimmy Lai is the Founder and Managing Partner of Lai & Turner Law Firm PLLC, where he leads a growing legal team dedicated to serving a diverse range of clients across Oklahoma and beyond. His practice emphasizes immigration law, criminal defense, estate planning, personal injury, and real estate law, guided by a mission to “do law differently.”

Jimmy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Central Oklahoma, where he was honored with the Top Central Man award for leadership. He later earned a dual JD/MBA from the University of Oklahoma in 2021, combining business acumen with legal expertise to launch a forward-thinking law firm.

Jimmy’s commitment to immigration law stems from his own multicultural and multilingual upbringing across Taiwan, the U.S., Japan, Germany, and England. His deep understanding of the immigrant experience drives his passion for helping clients pursue their American dreams through family-based visas, deportation defense, and national interest waivers.

Since founding Lai & Turner in 2022, Jimmy has overseen the firm’s rapid expansion into other high-demand practice areas. He has brought on skilled Of Counsel attorneys to meet growing client needs, while maintaining a standard of excellence grounded in professionalism, empathy, and innovative service.

Licensed to practice in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Washington, and the Western District of Oklahoma, Jimmy is also a member of the Oklahoma County Bar Association, Chickasaw Nation Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
