Katie McConnell

Katie McConnell is the owner and founder of McConnell Law Office, where she represents clients in a wide range of civil matters. Her practice includes estate planning, probate, real estate law, homeowner’s association matters, small business formation, general counsel services, utility contracts, elder law, transactional law, and general litigation. She is admitted to practice in Nevada and the Federal District of Nevada. Katie earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Southern California in 2002 and her J.D. from Loyola Law School in 2005. Her academic training built a strong foundation in legal writing, research, and analysis. She also contributed to legal scholarship through her publication, “Is Free Speech Too High a Price to Pay for Crime,” published in 24 Loy. L.A. Ent. L. Rev. 341 in 2004. This background supports her careful, informed, and strategic approach to every client matter and service.

Katie began her legal career as a clerk to the Honorable J. Michael Memeo, where she gained broad courtroom and case management experience. She then moved into general civil practice and continued building a career centered on solving everyday legal problems for individuals, families, and businesses. Over the years, she has handled matters involving property rights, estates, contracts, business needs, and disputes. Her experience enables her to guide clients efficiently while confidently protecting their interests at every stage of representation.

Her publication, “The SUPERPriority of Homeowners’ Associations,” appeared in Nevada Lawyer in June 2016, and she has contributed to legal education through Elko County Bar CLE and Nevada Legal Services’ Ask-a-Lawyer.
