Kamal Ghali

Kamal earned his Bachelor of Arts from Emory University, graduating magna cum laude, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School, magna cum laude, where he served as Note Editor of the Michigan Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Before co-founding the firm, Kamal served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, where he led cybercrime and intellectual property prosecutions, earning the U.S. Department of Justice Director’s Award for Superior Performance. He tried numerous high-profile cases, including international cybercrime, securities fraud, and public corruption trials, and held leadership roles as Deputy Chief of the Cyber and Intellectual Property Crime Section.
