Known for his courtroom command and strategic acumen, Kamal represents corporations and executives in complex business disputes, high-stakes investigations, and white-collar defense matters.

Kamal earned his Bachelor of Arts from Emory University, graduating magna cum laude, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School, magna cum laude, where he served as Note Editor of the Michigan Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. His academic excellence and analytical depth laid the foundation for his highly regarded career in litigation.

Before co-founding the firm, Kamal served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, where he led cybercrime and intellectual property prosecutions, earning the U.S. Department of Justice Director’s Award for Superior Performance. He tried numerous high-profile cases, including international cybercrime, securities fraud, and public corruption trials, and held leadership roles as Deputy Chief of the Cyber and Intellectual Property Crime Section.

In private practice, Kamal has first-chaired major jury trials, secured emergency injunctions, and resolved billion-dollar disputes across various industries, including energy, finance, technology, and aviation. He has represented clients in complex fraud, RICO, contract, and intellectual property cases nationwide, often achieving quiet resolutions that protect reputational and business interests.
