Stephan A. Barber

Stephan A. Barber is a highly accomplished civil trial attorney with more than 45 years of experience representing clients across California. As Partner and Director of Litigation, he focuses on business and contract law, employment and labor disputes, insurance coverage, property law, construction defects, and product liability cases. Stephan has successfully handled approximately 200 trials and arbitrations in both state and federal courts, earning recognition for his thorough preparation, strategic thinking, and outstanding trial advocacy.

Stephan earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and his J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. During law school, he served as Articles Editor of the Pacific Law Journal and received the American Jurisprudence Award for real property. Admitted to the California Bar in 1976, he is also licensed to practice before all Federal District Courts in California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. His consistent “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell for nearly three decades reflects his professional excellence and integrity.
