About
Justine Daniel is a Senior Associate at Casey Denson Law, where she focuses on employment, civil rights, and constitutional litigation. Since joining the firm in 2020, she has represented employees in cases involving discrimination, retaliation, unpaid wages, whistleblower claims, and workplace accommodations. Her practice reflects a strong commitment to protecting individual rights and liberties under state and federal law.
Ms. Daniel earned her J.D. from Tulane Law School in 2015, where she served as managing editor of the Tulane Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property and published scholarly work on intellectual property and publicity rights in the digital era. While in law school, she clerked for the Honorable Fredericka H. Wicker of the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and served as a research assistant to Professor Amy Gajda. These experiences strengthened her foundation in appellate and academic legal writing.
Before joining Casey Denson Law, Ms. Daniel practiced white-collar defense with Capitelli & Wicker in New Orleans. In that role, she defended individuals in investigations and enforcement actions by the DOJ, SEC, FDIC, and federal grand juries. She also served as an in-house conflicts attorney at Adams & Reese LLP, where she handled sensitive legal and ethical matters across multiple jurisdictions.
Admitted to practice in Louisiana, Ms. Daniel also appears before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana.
Justine Daniel is active in the Plaintiff’s Employment Law Association of Louisiana, the Federal Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, and TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund. Recognized as a Super Lawyers® Rising Star (2022–2025), she also contributes to the legal community through frequent publications on federal labor law, FMLA, and employee rights.
