Rachel Hudson is an Associate Attorney at Casey Denson Law, where she advocates for employees in matters involving workplace rights, discrimination, retaliation, and civil rights claims. Since joining the firm in 2024, she has built a reputation as a dedicated advocate committed to advancing fairness and justice for workers and communities across Louisiana.

Rachel earned her J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, where she graduated with Order of the Coif honors, recognizing her placement in the top 10% of her class. She also completed specializations in the David J. Epstein Public Interest Law and Policy Program and the Critical Race Studies Program. Before law school, she earned her undergraduate degree in Art History from Barnard College at Columbia University, graduating magna cum laude.

Prior to joining the firm, Rachel clerked for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. She also gained valuable experience with the ACLU of Southern California and the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Eastern District of California. During law school, she served as a student attorney in the Bail Practicum and the Reentry Legal Clinic, where she represented clients in pretrial hearings and assisted with record expungements.

Rachel Hudson is admitted to practice in the Louisiana State Bar and all three U.S. District Courts in Louisiana. She remains active in the legal community through publications in the Louisiana Bar Journal, Louisiana Advocates, and the New Orleans Bar Association Blog. Raised in Lafayette, she is deeply connected to the cultural and social fabric of South Louisiana and continues to dedicate her legal career to supporting workers, families, and the communities they serve.
