Joshua A. Carroll

Joshua A. Carroll is a Georgia trial attorney dedicated to representing injured individuals across the state. Raised in Habersham County, he developed an early belief that everyone deserves a voice and that the law should hold people accountable. That belief continues to guide his work today.

Joshua earned his B.B.A. from Mercer University (2003) before completing his J.D. from Mercer University (2007). After law school, he began his career at a large insurance defense law firm in Atlanta. He soon realized he wanted to focus on helping individuals rather than corporations and insurance companies.

Joshua joined Buzzell, Welsh & Hill in 2008 and has since represented injured people throughout Georgia. As his practice developed, he focused on cases where he could make a real difference in clients’ lives. He has built strong trust within Middle Georgia’s Hispanic community and values the relationships formed through his work.

Joshua currently serves as President of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He also serves on the Legislative Committee of the State Board of Workers’ Compensation’s Chairman’s Advisory Council. His leadership reflects his commitment to protecting consumers and helping injured workers receive fair treatment under the law.

Joshua A. Carroll is admitted to practice before all state and superior courts in Georgia, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia. He has received honors including an AV Preeminent® Rating from Martindale-Hubbell®, selections to Georgia Super Lawyers and Super Lawyers Rising Stars, Top 40 Under 40 by The National Trial Lawyers, and Legal Elite by Georgia Trend Magazine.
