Josh Sanford

Josh Sanford is the founding attorney of Sanford Law Firm and a leading advocate in employment litigation, with a strong focus on wage-and-hour law. His practice centers on helping employees recover unpaid wages and fight back against workplace injustice. Josh has extensive experience in cases involving the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the Equal Pay Act. He has handled numerous trials and complex claims, standing up for workers across the country. His firm is nationally recognized for its commitment to client service and legal excellence.

Josh graduated cum laude from Wheaton College with a B.A. in English. He earned his J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville. He is also a graduate of Russellville High School.

Josh has been admitted to practice before the Arkansas Supreme Court and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas since 2001. He is also admitted in multiple federal courts nationwide, including the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Eighth Circuits, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and federal courts in Colorado, Michigan, Texas, North Dakota, and Illinois. This broad range of admissions allows Josh to effectively represent clients in complex federal matters across the United States.

Josh has served as president of the Pope County Bar Association and is a member of the American, Arkansas, and National Employment Lawyers Associations, among others. He was voted “Best Attorney” in a local readers’ poll by The Courier in Russellville.
