Josh Sanford

Josh Sanford is the founding attorney of Sanford Law Firm and a leading advocate in employment litigation, with a strong focus on wage-and-hour law. His practice centers on helping employees recover unpaid wages and fight back against workplace injustice. Josh has extensive experience in cases involving the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the Equal Pay Act. He has handled numerous trials and complex claims, standing up for workers across the country. His firm is nationally recognized for its commitment to client service and legal excellence.

Josh graduated cum laude from Wheaton College with a B.A. in English. He earned his J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville. He is also a graduate of Russellville High School.

Josh was admitted to the Arkansas Supreme Court and U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas in 2001. He is admitted to practice in multiple federal courts, including the Fifth and Eighth Circuit Courts of Appeals, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and federal courts in Colorado, Michigan, Texas, North Dakota, and Illinois. With these wide-ranging admissions, Josh represents clients across the nation.

Josh has served as president of the Pope County Bar Association and is a member of the American, Arkansas, and National Employment Lawyers Associations, among others. He was voted “Best Attorney” in a local readers’ poll by The Courier in Russellville.
