John J. Bartko

John J. Bartko is a Founding Partner of Bartko Pavia LLP and a nationally recognized trial lawyer with decades of experience in complex litigation. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in civil, criminal, and regulatory matters, including financial fraud, environmental litigation, white collar defense, and antitrust cases. Known for his strategic advocacy, Mr. Bartko has served as lead counsel in high-profile trials, including a nationally televised antitrust case where he secured an acquittal despite 17 prior guilty pleas.

Mr. Bartko earned his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. His education at two of California’s premier institutions laid a strong foundation for his successful legal career.
