Joey Baertschi

Joey Baertschi is an experienced litigation attorney who brings a client-first mindset to every case he handles. Joey began his academic journey at Marian University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, graduating summa cum laude in 2019. He later pursued his legal education at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law – Indianapolis. He earned his Juris Doctor in 2023, graduating summa cum laude and building a strong foundation in both legal analysis and courtroom procedure.

Joey started his legal career before law school, gaining hands-on experience as an administrative assistant and paralegal focusing on labor and employment law. These early roles gave him valuable insight into the legal process and helped him understand how to approach client matters with precision and care. During law school, he further expanded his practical knowledge by clerking for the Hon. Heather A. Welch on the Indiana Commercial Court, Marion County.

Joey works with cases involving breach of fiduciary duty, wage and hour defense, and restrictive covenant enforcement such as non-compete, confidentiality, and non-solicitation agreements. His litigation work also includes evaluating claims, preparing court filings, and offering clients sound strategies aimed at minimizing risk and achieving favorable outcomes. He approaches each matter with careful attention to detail and a clear focus on long-term results.
