About
Joe Bilby is a Kentucky attorney who focuses on estate planning, agricultural law, and workforce visa compliance. A proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, he brings discipline, integrity, and practical judgment to his legal practice. He works with individuals, families, farmers, agribusinesses, and employers who need reliable legal guidance. His goal is to provide clear advice and affordable solutions that protect clients’ long-term interests.
Joe earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law. After law school, he began his career at a large law firm in Louisville. There, he concentrated on workplace law, business litigation, and trust and estate litigation. This experience gave him strong courtroom skills and a deep understanding of business and employment disputes.
Joe later served seven years as general counsel to the Kentucky Department of Agriculture. In that role, he advised leadership on regulatory matters, agricultural policy, and legal issues affecting farmers and agribusinesses across the state. His work provided firsthand knowledge of the challenges facing Kentucky agriculture and strengthened his commitment to serving rural communities and agricultural employers.
Joe Bilby provides affordable estate planning services to individuals and families throughout Kentucky, helping them prepare wills, trusts, and succession plans. He also maintains a specialized practice assisting employers nationwide who rely on the H-2A and H-2B temporary visa programs to meet workforce needs. Through practical advice and steady guidance, Joe helps clients move forward with confidence.
