About
Zachary Walker represents clients in Oregon and Washington across employment law, civil rights, personal injury, criminal defense, and general litigation matters. His work includes employment and disability disputes involving discrimination, wrongful discharge, harassment, whistleblowing, and retaliation. He also represents injured individuals and handles criminal defense cases, bringing courtroom experience and a practical understanding of how disputes develop in both state and federal court.
Zachary earned a B.A. from Whitworth University in 2004 and a J.D., cum laude, from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2011. During law school, he worked as a litigation law clerk on civil rights matters, employment disputes, and disability discrimination cases. This early experience, combined with his academic training, helped build a strong foundation in legal analysis, advocacy, and trial preparation.
Zachary began practicing criminal law after law school to strengthen his trial skills and later worked as a civil litigation defense attorney handling complex litigation, personal injury, and construction defect matters. That background gave him direct insight into insurance company practices and defense strategies. His broader practice also includes family law, trust and estate litigation, construction law, and other litigation matters where careful preparation and clear case strategy are important.
Zachary Walker is admitted to practice in Oregon and Washington and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. He is also involved with the Oregon State Bar, Multnomah Bar Association, Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, Washington State Bar, and Clark County Bar Association. His experience on both plaintiff and defense matters supports a balanced approach to evaluating legal issues, explaining options, and protecting clients’ interests through negotiation, litigation, and trial when necessary.
