JoAnn M. Perez has dedicated more than twenty-two years to practicing law in Huntsville, Alabama, with a focus on guiding clients through estate planning and related legal matters. Her practice centers on creating wills and trusts, handling probate administration, and providing counsel for guardianships, conservatorships, and business formations.
JoAnn began her academic journey at Wayne State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing. She continued at Wayne State University Law School, completing her Juris Doctor in 1999. During law school, she received the Bronze Key Academic Award in 1996 and sharpened her advocacy skills as a member of Moot Court.
JoAnn is licensed to practice law in Alabama and remains actively involved in professional legal associations. She is a member of the Elder Law Section of the Alabama State Bar, as well as the Real Estate and Probate Section, the Taxation Section, and the Business Section of the American Bar Association. Through these roles, she consistently stays connected with evolving practices that benefit her clients.
JoAnn’s leadership extends into the community. She has served as President of both the WEDC Foundation Board and CASA of Madison County, now known as Enable. Currently, she contributes her time to the Drake State Foundation Board, the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville Women’s Philanthropy Society Leadership Council, and the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville Ambassador Council.
