Jill E. Jester is a partner at Minor & Jester, P.C., where she represents individuals and businesses in real estate, probate, civil litigation, and business law matters. Since joining the firm in 2010, she has built a reputation for her skillful advocacy and commitment to securing practical, effective outcomes for her clients. Her experience spans contract disputes, property transactions, and estate planning across North Texas.
Jill earned her B.A. from the University of Oklahoma and her J.D. from South Texas College of Law, made the Dean’s List, and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers. During law school, she excelled in advocacy, earning top placements in national moot court competitions and serving as Director of the Board of Advocates. She is also a certified mediator through the Frank Evans Center for Conflict Resolution.
Jill’s dedication to her profession has been recognized through numerous honors, including multiple “Rising Star” recognitions in Texas Monthly’s Super Lawyers and multiple Best of Denton County awards for civil law, real estate, and estate planning. Her diverse background, which includes work in film and television before her legal career, contributes to her strong communication and negotiation skills in complex legal matters.
Beyond her practice, Jill E. Jester is an active leader in the Denton community. She has served as Chair of the Denton Chamber of Commerce Board, Chair of the Texas Woman’s University Board of Regents, and Vice Chair of the City of Denton Economic Development Partnership Board. Through her legal work and civic involvement, she continues to advocate for both her clients and her community with integrity and professionalism.
