Olivia R. Ponce

Olivia R. Ponce is an attorney at Minor & Jester, P.C., where she focuses her practice on estate planning, probate, and real estate law. Since joining the firm in 2023, she has become a trusted advocate for families and individuals throughout Denton County, known for her thorough approach and dedication to protecting her clients’ legacies and property interests.

A graduate of the Ave Maria School of Law, Olivia earned her Juris Doctor in 2019, where she made the Dean’s Honor Roll, received the CALI Award in Business Associations, and was a finalist in the First-Year Oral Advocacy competition. She also holds a Paralegal Certificate from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Dallas Baptist University. Her strong academic foundation complements her practical experience, including time spent at a title company, which strengthened her understanding of real estate transactions and property law.

Olivia began her legal career as a prosecutor in Marshall, Texas, where she gained courtroom experience handling cases involving juvenile and domestic violence crimes. While serving her community, she also assisted friends and family with wills, real estate, and entity formation—discovering a deep passion for helping people secure their financial and personal futures. This passion led her to transition into private practice, focusing on estate planning, probate, and trust matters in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Today, Olivia R. Ponce handles a wide range of estate and probate matters, including complex trust administration and guardianships. She is an active member of the State Bar of Texas, the College of the State Bar of Texas, and the Denton Bar Association. Olivia also serves her community as a board member for Journey to Dream, a Denton County nonprofit supporting at-risk youth.
