Jeffrey Banyas

Jeffrey Banyas is a dedicated intellectual property attorney serving clients across Ohio and beyond. Jeffrey earned his Juris Doctor from The University of Akron School of Law in 2010 after completing his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from The University of Akron in 2007. He is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the State of Ohio, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Before entering the legal profession, Jeffrey spent 17 years in the high-performance racing world, both working in and racing for his family’s business. This hands-on experience gives him a deep appreciation for the needs of inventors, entrepreneurs, and small business owners. He understands the value of innovation and the importance of protecting ideas in competitive markets.

Jeffrey assists clients in drafting and prosecuting patent and trademark applications, identifying and safeguarding trade secrets, and negotiating licensing and technology agreements.
