Julie Spain

Julie Spain is the founder of Julie Spain Law LLC, where she provides experienced legal counsel in estate planning, probate, trust administration, corporate law, landlord/tenant matters, and governmental representation. Based in Marysville, Ohio, she serves Union County and surrounding communities with professionalism, compassion, and a deep commitment to public service.

Julie earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from The Ohio State University and her Juris Doctor cum laude from Indiana University’s Maurer School of Law in 2014. She has built a strong reputation for accessible, solutions-oriented representation tailored to her clients’ individual needs.

Julie’s practice includes creating customized estate plans with wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives. She also guides clients through probate and trust administration with clarity and care. In corporate law, she advises businesses on entity formation, contracts, transactions, and succession planning.

Julie serves as Assistant City Law Director for the City of Marysville, Village Solicitor for Richwood, and legal counsel for Paris Township. Her government work includes drafting ordinances, presiding over municipal hearings, and representing clients in court—bringing legal insight to both the public and private sectors.

Julie is an active leader in her community. She served as President of the Union County Bar Association in 2023 and volunteers for local nonprofits, including the Elizaveta Fund and Neighbor to Neighbor. She is also the founder of the Marysville Plant Library, a widely supported grassroots initiative that promotes community engagement through gardening.
