Jamie began his academic career at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where he earned a BSBA in Finance in 1985. He later completed his Juris Doctorate from the Birmingham School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama, in 1993. These educational foundations equipped him with the financial insight and legal acumen essential to his practice in bankruptcy law.
