Josefina L. Valdez

Josefina L. Valdez, Esq., is an accomplished attorney and the founder of J.L. Valdez Law, where she provides skilled and compassionate legal representation to individuals and families. She began her legal career serving underprivileged and underserved communities as a staff attorney and later as the Executive Director of a non-profit legal services organization. This experience provided her with a strong foundation in managing complex cases and advocating for clients facing challenging legal issues. Josefina is known for her dedication, professionalism, and commitment to achieving fair results through diligent preparation and zealous advocacy, also as a bankruptcy lawyer.

Josefina earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, where she also minored in Public Policy and Ethnic Studies. She later obtained her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in New York City. While at Fordham, Josefina was an active member of the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Team and the Securities Arbitration Clinic, where she developed substantial courtroom and negotiation skills that continue to benefit her clients today.

Josefina has represented clients across a wide range of legal areas, drawing on her early experience as a legal services attorney to navigate diverse and complex matters throughout her career.
