James T. Heise, also known as J. Todd Heise, is an accomplished attorney serving clients across Maryland and the District of Columbia. His legal practice focuses on helping distressed property owners navigate short sales and deed in lieu of foreclosure transactions for both residential and commercial properties.
James earned his Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Baltimore, graduating cum laude from both programs. While in law school, he concentrated on real estate practice and held editorial roles with the University of Baltimore Law Review and Journal of Environmental Law, in addition to participating in moot court competitions.
James’s practice extends beyond distressed property work. He represents businesses and real estate developers in various corporate and commercial legal matters.
