James D. Saintvil

James D. Saintvil is a skilled attorney who concentrates on trust and estate administration, estate planning, charitable giving, and business succession strategies. James began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, earned cum laude from William Paterson University of New Jersey in 2011. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Widener University – Delaware Law School in 2014. Further strengthening his foundation, he earned an LL.M. in Taxation with a Certificate in Estate Planning from Georgetown University Law Center in 2017.

James developed an early background in taxation through owning an income tax preparation firm prior to law school. This experience has proven invaluable in advising clients on tax-efficient estate strategies. He applies this insight to help individuals, families, and business owners navigate complex planning with clarity and confidence.

James previously served as an associate at Birchstone Moore LLC, handling sophisticated estate plans for high-net-worth clients. Before that, he worked at Pasternak & Fidis, P.C., where he assisted clients with estate administration and plan implementation. His earlier experience also includes a legal externship at Baker & Hostetler LLP. James is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York.
