Laura Starr

Laura Starr is the Managing Shareholder of Starr Law Firm Plano office and is Board Certified in Estate Planning & Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a distinction earned by less than ten percent of Texas attorneys. With more than a decade of legal experience, Laura is known for handling complex estate planning, probate, guardianship, and business matters with a clear, big-picture approach. She believes that every client, family, and business is unique, and she takes pride in designing creative solutions that bring peace of mind and help people achieve their goals.

Laura earned her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago in 2013, where she also received a certificate in business law. During law school, she externed for the Honorable Michael F. Otto at the Circuit Court of Cook County and competed as a member of the International Commercial Arbitration Moot Team. She was also a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. Laura holds a B.S. in Political Science from Texas Christian University, graduating in 2007.
