Bert Starr

Bert Starr is a trusted legal advisor with more than four decades of experience representing individuals and business owners in complex legal matters. Bert holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Michigan State University, a Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University of Law. He is licensed to practice in Texas and Michigan and admitted before various U.S. federal courts, including the Supreme Court of the United States.

Bert has served in leadership roles across local and national bar associations. He was President of the Plano Bar Association and chaired the Collin County Bar Association’s Estate Planning Section. His affiliations also include the American Bar Association and the Dallas Bar Association’s Tax and Estate Planning Sections.
