Giannina (Gina) Lynn

Giannina (Gina) Lynn, Esq. has maintained a respected estate and probate law practice on Capitol Hill since 1994. She focuses on estate planning, probate administration, living trusts, guardianship, and conservatorship petitions. Her work is centered on helping clients plan responsibly and navigate complex legal processes with clarity and confidence.

A magna cum laude graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, Gina also earned her B.A. from Barnard College. She clerked for Judge John H. Pratt in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia before launching a legal career grounded in litigation and estate law. She is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Gina’s early experience includes serving as an Assistant Public Defender in Montgomery County and as an associate at Holland & Knight (formerly Dunnells & Duvall), where she handled various commercial litigation and white-collar defense matters. This foundation has enriched her work in estate litigation and fiduciary proceedings.

Gina has served for decades on the D.C. Superior Court’s fiduciary panel as conservator, personal representative, and Special Master, and since 1996, she has volunteered with AARP’s Legal Counsel for the Elderly. She also helped launch a pro bono wills clinic and has participated in key reform efforts, including the Council for Court Excellence’s estate administration initiative.

Giannina Lynn has led the D.C. legal community, co-chairing the Estates, Trusts and Probate Section of the D.C. Bar, editing legal manuals, and testifying on legislative changes. Named a top estate attorney by Washingtonian magazine, she continues to support clients with tailored, effective planning and representation in estate and probate matters.
