Jack Wisdom

Jack Wisdom is a partner at Martin, Disiere, Jefferson & Wisdom LLP in Houston, Texas, where he focuses on complex labor and employment law matters. Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Mr. Wisdom represents employers across the country in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings before agencies such as the EEOC, DOL, OSHA, and NLRB. He also serves as a mediator and arbitrator in employment-related disputes and provides legal guidance on compliance, workforce policies, and union-related matters.

Mr. Wisdom earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center in 1991, where he was a member of the Houston Law Review and inducted into the Order of the Coif. He also holds a Master of Divinity, summa cum laude, from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Trinity University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

With decades of experience, Mr. Wisdom advises clients on terminations, hiring practices, wage and hour issues, employee training, executive compensation, employment agreements, and restrictive covenants. He has guided employers through union campaigns nationwide and regularly leads seminars on employment law topics. His work includes representing management in collective actions, civil rights claims, and regulatory investigations.
