About
Jack L. Zaremba is an experienced criminal defense attorney with a career rooted in prosecution and trial advocacy. He represents individuals facing serious state and federal criminal charges, including felonies, misdemeanors, DUI, domestic violence, drug offenses, weapons charges, and juvenile crimes. His practice is built on aggressive courtroom advocacy, detailed case preparation, and a strong commitment to helping clients avoid convictions and long-term consequences.
Zaremba earned his J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago and his B.A. from the University of Alabama. His legal education emphasized trial practice, legal analysis, and criminal procedure, forming a solid foundation for handling complex criminal matters. This academic training supports his ability to evaluate evidence, identify weaknesses in prosecutions, and present compelling defenses in both bench and jury trials.
Zaremba began his legal career as a clerk with the Illinois Attorney General and later served in the Medicaid Fraud Bureau, prosecuting complex white-collar and financial crimes. In 2006, he was appointed Assistant State’s Attorney in Will County, where he handled hundreds of cases ranging from DUI to first-degree murder. He served as first chair in dozens of jury and bench trials, gaining extensive courtroom experience.
Since entering private practice, Jack L. Zaremba has applied his prosecutorial insight to defending clients in high-stakes criminal cases. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois and remains active in professional legal associations. Clients value his confidence, trial readiness, and direct approach. His goal is to protect rights, challenge the prosecution at every stage, and pursue the strongest possible outcome in every case.
