J. Rudi Trader

J. Rudi Trader is a second-generation attorney and lifetime Brevard County resident who has dedicated his career to serving families and individuals in Melbourne, Florida. As the managing attorney of Trader Legal, his practice spans probate, wills and trusts, estate planning, family law, adoptions, and real estate. With nearly four decades of legal experience, he is committed to providing trusted guidance through life’s most significant legal challenges.

Mr. Trader earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida in 1981. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 1985, where he was a member of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity. In 2014, he furthered his credentials by becoming a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator. He is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Since beginning his practice alongside his father, Mr. Trader has developed a reputation for providing personal and practical solutions tailored to the needs of his clients. His work in estate planning and probate ensures that families protect their assets and carry out their long-term goals, while his family law and adoption practice reflects his dedication to helping clients navigate sensitive and life-changing legal matters. His mediation certification also allows him to provide constructive alternatives for resolving disputes outside of the courtroom.

Active in the local legal community, J. Rudi Trader has been a member of the Brevard County Bar Association since 1985.
