J. Andrew Johnson

J. Andrew Johnson is a Kentucky attorney and a partner at Gordon Goetz Johnson, PSC, whose practice focuses on litigation, corporate and small business law matters, and family law. He represents clients facing disputes and legal issues that require practical analysis, advocacy, and careful preparation. His work includes civil litigation and lawsuits & disputes involving business interests, ownership concerns, and family-related legal questions. He brings experience in state and federal practice while serving individuals and businesses throughout Western Kentucky communities effectively.

Andrew earned his J.D. from the University of Louisville School of Law, where he received the J. Richard Oexman Criminal Law Award. He earned his B.A. in History from Centre College. He was admitted to the Kentucky bar in 2004 and is admitted to the US District Court for the Western District of Kentucky and the US District Court for the Central District of Illinois federal trial courts as well.

Andrew has maintained active involvement in professional organizations throughout his career. He has served on the Executive Committee of the Kentucky Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and held leadership roles with the Daviess County Bar Association, including president and treasurer. He also belongs to the American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, and Kentucky Justice Association, reflecting sustained participation in state, local, and national legal communities across Kentucky and beyond.

J. Andrew Johnson has also contributed to community and pro bono programs in Western Kentucky. He served as an attorney coach for the Kentucky High School Mock Trial program at Owensboro High School and has supported the Boy Scouts of America through several leadership roles. His service has included the Lawyers Care Program and the Foundation for Excellence for Owensboro Public Schools, complementing his litigation, business, and family law practice.
