Ian Silvers

Ian Silvers is a partner and experienced trial attorney at Bisnar Chase Personal Injury Attorneys, LLP. He focuses on employment law and class action litigation, representing workers in claims involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, and wage and hour violations. Silvers plays a leading role in Bisnar Chase’s Class Action and PAGA departments and has secured numerous high-value settlements for California workers.

Silvers earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2006 and his B.A. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego in 2003. He is a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honors Fraternity.

Early in his legal career, Silvers interned with the Katharine and George Alexander Community Law Center, advising low-income employees on workplace issues. Since then, he has built a distinguished career advocating for workers’ rights. He is licensed to practice in California state courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Northern, and Eastern Districts of California.

Silvers has achieved multiple seven-figure outcomes, including an $8.75M wage and hour class action settlement in 2020 and a $4.88M class and PAGA settlement in 2021. His appellate win in Midwest Motor Supply Co. v. Superior Court set a precedent for interpreting California Labor Code §925 regarding forum selection clauses.

A recipient of the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Service, Ian Silvers continues to advocate for those who cannot afford representation. Recognized by the Daily Journal as a Top Labor and Employment Lawyer, he is a member of several legal organizations, including CELA, CAALA, OCBA, and AAJ.
