Gia Behnamian

Gia Behnamian is an associate attorney at The Employment Law Group, P.C., where she focuses her practice on employment law and civil rights, including whistleblower protections and workplace discrimination. As part of a firm known for championing employee rights, Ms. Behnamian supports clients facing wrongful termination, retaliation, harassment, and other forms of unlawful treatment in the workplace.

Ms. Behnamian earned her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School in 2022. During law school, she worked as a student-attorney with the GW Jacob Burns Community Legal Clinics, representing clients in proceedings before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, Office of Special Masters. She also served as a staff member for the Federal Circuit Bar Journal. Before her legal training, she earned an M.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies and a B.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University.

Ms. Behnamian’s legal experience includes internships with the Transportation Security Administration’s Office of Chief Counsel and with Justice Sabrina S. McKenna of the Hawaii State Supreme Court. These roles helped her develop a practical and thoughtful approach to litigation and client advocacy.
