Heather Visali

Heather Visali is a dedicated family law attorney with extensive courtroom experience and a heart for helping others. From the start of her legal journey, she has shown a firm commitment to standing up for vulnerable individuals, especially children. Heather earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Florida. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Stetson College of Law, graduating Cum Laude in 2002. At Stetson, she was part of the Trial Advocacy Team and the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society. Her education laid the groundwork for her ability to combine legal knowledge with emotional understanding.

Heather began her career as an Assistant State Attorney in Pinellas County, where she prosecuted both misdemeanors and felonies. She gained valuable trial experience, handling hundreds of bench and jury trials. Her work on juvenile sex crimes, in particular, left a lasting impact and fueled her desire to help children through family law.

Heather moved back to Jacksonville in 2005 and started focusing more on family law. By 2013, she was working exclusively in this area, handling complex divorces, paternity matters, domestic violence cases, modifications, and child support enforcement. Her background in psychology helps her guide clients with empathy during emotionally difficult times.

Heather brings a rare mix of sharp legal skills and emotional intelligence. Her trial experience allows her to fight effectively in court, while her calm and understanding nature helps clients feel supported. She is a member of both the Florida Family Law Inns of Court and the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, staying active in the legal community.
