About
Hazel Solis Rojas is a dedicated Florida attorney whose legal career reflects her deep commitment to fairness, justice, and opportunity. With years of experience representing clients in employment and immigration matters, she has built a strong reputation for advocating for the rights of workers, employers, and families striving to build their futures in the United States.
Hazel earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Psychology from Florida International University, followed by her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law. During law school, she held leadership roles as an Executive Board Member of both the Public Interest Law Society and the Hispanic Law Student Association. She was also honored as a Florida Bar Alternative Dispute Resolution Fellowship recipient, demonstrating her early commitment to professional excellence and community engagement.
Hazel began her legal journey working alongside experienced attorneys in several practice areas, including Real Estate, Business Law, Immigration, and Labor & Employment Law. She gained significant experience representing buyers, sellers, lenders, and private investors in residential and commercial real estate transactions, while also handling foreclosure defense, landlord-tenant matters, and business formation. Her broad foundation later expanded into employment litigation, where she represented hundreds of employees in wage and hour disputes, discrimination cases, and class action claims in state and federal courts.
Hazel’s practice also includes counseling employers on compliance and workplace issues, ensuring that businesses operate within the law while fostering fair treatment for their employees. As a first-generation immigrant, Hazel has volunteered as a pro-bono attorney for an immigration non-profit organization, assisting individuals and families in Miami-Dade County. This hands-on experience gives her unique insight into the challenges faced by foreign nationals pursuing legal status in the U.S.
Hazel Solis Rojas continues to represent clients across Florida and nationwide in both employment and immigration matters. Her active membership in professional associations such as the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and the South Miami Kendall Bar Association reflects her dedication to continuous learning and service to the community.
