About
Harry M. Roth is a distinguished trial attorney and shareholder at Cohen, Placitella & Roth, P.C., widely recognized for his success in complex civil litigation. His practice includes medical malpractice, product liability, catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and pharmaceutical injury cases, with a strong record of multi-million dollar results.
Mr. Roth earned his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law in 1983 and went on to receive an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from Temple University School of Law in 1994. He holds a B.A. in Government from Franklin & Marshall College. His early legal experience includes clerking for the Honorable Bernard J. Goodheart in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
Over the years, Mr. Roth has secured substantial verdicts and settlements for his clients, including a $227 million settlement in a deadly building collapse case and a $7.5 million recovery for a birth injury. His expertise also extends to mass tort litigation, where he played a key role in a $220 million steroid contamination case.
Mr. Roth is consistently recognized among the Best Lawyers in America®, Pennsylvania Super Lawyers, and the Top 100 Trial Lawyers. He has earned an AV® rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers.
