Harjeen Zibari is a dedicated trial attorney with strong experience in courtroom and administrative hearings. She has represented clients in Texas state and federal courts and worked with agencies like the EEOC and Texas Workforce Commission. Her legal focus includes employment law claims under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, and the Texas Labor Code. Harjeen brings both skill and compassion to every case, always working toward the best results for her clients.
Harjeen graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas with a B.S. in Psychology and Child Learning and Development and a minor in Political Science. She was a Dean’s Scholar, a Phi Beta Kappa member, and competed in moot court. She earned her J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law, where she completed over 100 hours of pro bono work.
Harjeen, entering private practice, worked at a nonprofit helping low-income individuals navigate the criminal justice system. She handled cases involving excessive fines and court costs and was active in legislative reform efforts. Her background also includes work on major civil rights lawsuits focused on bail reform, immigration, and homelessness.
Harjeen’s pro bono efforts included estate planning, expunctions, special education advocacy, and DACA renewals. She also took part in UT Law’s Civil Rights and Criminal Defense Clinics and was chosen for the school’s prestigious moot court competition.
Harjeen Zibari is licensed in Texas and admitted to all four federal district courts in the state. She speaks English and Kurdish. In law school, she served as a peer mentor, supported first-generation women of color, and was the Managing Editor for the Texas International Law Journal. She received honors from the Travis County Women Lawyers Association and the National Association of Women Judges.
